Randy Mario Poffo had definitely been one of the biggest wrestling sensations. Most people knew him as Randy Savage or as Macho Man. During his 3-decade career in the WWF and WCW, Randy managed to bag 29 titles and his deep voice became his trademark characteristic. Macho Man’s credit score was greatly benefited by his acting ventures as well, as he appeared in films such as Spiderman. People paid their respects to one of wrestling’s greats in 2011 when he died after a crash—with the autopsy later revealing that his heart had stopped working as he drove.

Yokozuna, Died In 2000 – Unknown
Rodney Agatupa Anoaʻi entered the WWF in 1984, coming from the great Anoa’i wrestling family with roots from the Samoan Islands. His nickname, Yokozuna, means the highest rank in sumo fighting—but he never fought as a sumo fighter. Yokozuna was the first Samoan athlete to win the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and he became a big hit back in the day. He last wrestled in 2000, as he was found dead in his hotel room in Liverpool the same year. Original reports claimed that he had died of a heart attack, though experts later revealed that fluid had blocked his lungs—with that being the cause of death.

Kevin Nash, 59 – $8 Million

Kevin Nash is yet another former wrestler who has transitioned into a career in Hollywood. He started out as a basketball player when he was still studying at the University of Tennessee but an injured knee made him step away from basketball. He later pursued wrestling professionally and was referred to as Diesel. He had a fruitful career in the WWF and WCW but he eventually decided to try out acting. Most of you probably know him for his role in the Magic Mike movies. He has an upcoming TV movie called The Swerve.

When his career ended in 2017, he counted 6 World Championships in organizations such as the WWF and the WCW. His last match was in 2017 for a minor league called Great North Wrestling in Ottawa, Ontario. His career was never the same after he broke his leg in 2001. And even if his insurance helped him recover, he knew it was time for him to start slowing down on wrestling.

Bret Hart, 62  – $14 Million

Bret Hart, 62  – $14 Million

Bret Hart doesn’t need an introduction. And judging by the fact that they used to call him “The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Will Ever Be”, you would understand why. His wrestling career spans over 50 decades with his last occasional appearance in the ring in 2016. At the same time, Hart, who comes from the famous Hart wrestling family, faced many ups and downs but managed to overcome them. Hart has also worked as a columnist for The Calgary Sun from 1991 to 2004 and he has also released his memoir titled Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling.

The Ultimate Warrior, Died in 2014 – $1.5 Million

The Ultimate Warrior, Died in 2014 – $1.5 Million

The Ultimate Warrior’s story is quite interesting. Born James Brian Hellwig, he joined the WWF in the early ’90s where he became popular for his stunts. He later moved to the WCW as “The Warrior” or “Dingo Warrior”. In 1992, a rumor had it that a Hellwig doppelganger played his role in the WWF, as his image had really changed. WWE later claimed that this had been the organization’s longest standing urban legend. Three days before his death of a heart attack in 2014, he was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. He had also performed in Raw, without knowing that this would be his final moment there.

Ric Flair, 69 – $3 Million

Ric Flair, 69 – $3 Million

Ric Flair, as his name implies, had his own unique flair inside the ring—and he’s probably the most glamorous muscular guy you’ve ever seen. Flair became a huge hit in the WWE and the organization indicated that he has won 16 World Championship titles—though he claims to have won 21 of them. Either way, his earnings skyrocketed as fans were nuts about him. And though he’s retired, he still makes appearances and his legacy is being kept alive by his son and daughter (Charlotte Flair) who are also wrestlers. His younger son, Reid, was also a wrestler, but he died in 2012 due to an accidental OD.

Hulk Hogan, 65 – $25 Million

Hulk Hogan, 65 – $25 Million

Hulk Hogan wasn’t only a superb wrestler; he was also one of the most famous figures in wrestling during the ’80s and early ’90s. His wacky style and macho looks made him a star during that time. He has also done TV shows, movies, and commercials—with his latest one in 2014 for RadioShack‘s Super Bowl commercial. And with all the cash he earned back then, he decided to invest money on his Pastamania restaurant which, unfortunately, closed down. Hogan’s split from ex-wife Linda in 2007 almost left him broke and got him considering ending his life. Fortunately, his American Gladiators co-star, Laila Ali, was able to help change his mind.

Randy Orton, 38 – $11 Million

Randy Orton, 38 – $11 Million

With his father being Bob “Cowboy” Orton and his grandfather being Bob Orton Sr., Randy Orton couldn’t have become anything other than a wrestler, continuing his family’s illustrious tradition in the rings. Orton is currently one of WWE‘s most acclaimed figures, participating in the Smackdown brand and winning titles like a madman. Just like many others, he took his shot at acting with his last appearance being in the 2016 film, Countdown. Though his net worth seems to be increasing, it could take a potential hit. In 2018, he was accused of harassment by WWE writers. Orton allegedly exposed himself to them sometime during the early days of his career.

Edge, 44 – $14 Million

Edge, 44 – $14 Million

You’re surely familiar with Adam Joseph Copeland—though you probably know him as Edge, the muscular guy who broke numerous records in the WWE. He was honored in 2012 when he was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. So what’s his financial planning counting on now? Edge was quite theatrical even since his time in the WWE, so he became an actor appearing in the hit TV series Vikings since 2017. He’s married to WWE Diva Beth Phoenix, with whom he has two children.

In 1996, he made his wrestling debut in the WWF. Since then, Henry has been a two-time World Heavyweight Champion with a very high salary. He still works for the WWE but mostly as a producer now. In April 2018, he became a WWE Hall of Famer.

Paul Bearer, Died In 2013  – Estimated $200K

Paul Bearer wasn’t actually a wrestler, but one of the most famous—if not the most famous—managers in the WWE. His original name is William Alvin Moody and “Paul Bearer” came from the term “pallbearer”. Quite catchy, right? His gimmicks were also as catchy as it gets as he pretended to use witchcraft to favor his causes. Bearer managed famous wrestling names such as The Undertaker, Kane, and Mick Foley. However, in 2013, he died of a heart attack.  He was only 58 years old. Just one year later, he was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. His loss became first news on every wrestling site.

She even made TV appearances such as her last one in Celebrity Rehab in 2007. After her exit from WWE, Chyna faced many hardships and did almost anything to get by. Sadly, her troubles got the best of her and she was found dead in her apartment back in 2016.

His award was received by his wife and children as in 2004, the Big Boss Man died of a heart attack. He was just 41.

You must know this famed wrestler already because his WWE tales are nothing less than legendary. Lex Lugar gained his WWE fame back in the 80s due to his extreme fighting skills. It’s no surprise that other wrestlers, no matter how great they were, also got intimated by Lex. Not only was he a wrestler but a football player, a television producer, and he worked on WWE’s wellness policy. However, since he retired Lex lives a modest life away from his famous title and the WWE madness. With that his net worth is just enough to ensure that his children will have a secure future!

Rather quickly, Angle became one of the most formidable forces in WWE.
